Refunds and Cancellations
Last updated October 7, 2026 · Scorra Labs LLC
This policy covers payments made through Scorra Events, the competition platform operated by Scorra Labs LLC (“Scorra”, “we”). It applies to athletes who register for events and to the organizers who run them. All amounts are in US dollars (USD).
What you pay
When you register for a paid event you pay two things at checkout: the entry fee set by the organizer, and the Scorra fee, which covers card processing and the platform. Both appear as separate lines, in US dollars, before you confirm. Free registrations carry no Scorra fee.
If the organizer cancels the event
You receive a full refund of the entry fee and the Scorra fee, to the card you paid with. Refunds are issued within five business days of the cancellation and usually appear on your statement within five to ten business days after that, depending on your bank.
If you withdraw
Each organizer sets the refund terms for their entry fee, and those terms are shown on the event page before you register. Common examples are a full refund up to a cut-off date, a partial refund, or a credit toward a future event. When an organizer issues a refund of the entry fee, the Scorra fee is retained, because the registration and payment services were provided.
To withdraw, open the event in Scorra Events and choose Withdraw, or email support@scorralabs.com with the event name and the email address you registered with.
If you transfer your registration
Where the organizer allows transfers to another athlete or another division, the entry fee moves with the registration and no new Scorra fee is charged. If the new division costs more, you pay the difference plus the Scorra fee on that difference. The original Scorra fee is retained.
Rescheduled or changed events
If an organizer moves an event to a new date or venue, your registration carries over automatically. If you cannot attend the new date, you may withdraw under the organizer’s refund terms within 14 days of the change notice, and we will refund the entry fee in full on the organizer’s behalf where their terms do not already do so.
Duplicate or mistaken charges
If you were charged twice, or charged for a registration you did not complete, contact support and we refund the duplicate in full, including the Scorra fee.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card or by bank transfer. If the original card is closed, your bank will normally route the refund to your replacement card or account; contact your bank if it does not arrive within ten business days.
Disputes
A charge from Scorra Events appears on your card statement under the Scorra Labs descriptor shown on the contact page. Please contact support@scorralabs.com before opening a dispute with your card issuer. Most questions are settled the same day. If you do open a dispute, we will provide the registration record, the event’s refund terms and the checkout confirmation to the card network.
Organizers
Organizers receive the full entry fee for each registration. Refunds you issue to athletes are deducted from your balance or your next payout. If a refund exceeds your available balance, we will contact you before processing it. Cancelling an event triggers full refunds, including the Scorra fee, to every registered athlete; please contact us before cancelling so we can handle the communication with you.
